Planning Commission- Report Given Next meeting will be 02/09/03 7pm at the Township hall Anita Sanger gave year end Planning report to board

Water Commission: Next meeting 02/18/03 @ 7:00pm Township hall. Bob Winchester gave report to board on the status of the new water districts also a report was given by Mark Norton from Wade Trim

Motions:

1. Moved Helen Mudd second Al Tew to pay monthly bills as listed AP checks #31739 thru #31818 for $43,242.10 and payroll checks #31741 thru #31778 for $12,363.40 totaling $55,605.50. Passed

2. Moved Al Tew second Helen Mudd to pay Midland Co for printing of tax bill for the Township $901.66 Passed

3. Moved Barb Radosa second Al Tew to accept resolution #3 for snow removal on Crooked Tree Ln. Passed

4. Moved Barb Radosa second Joe DuFort to accept Road Commissions contract for Crooked Tree Ln,Miller rd and Meadowlark .05 miles. Passed

5. Moved Barb Radosa second Helen Mudd to accept resolution #4 for Crooked Tree Ln. Passed

6. Moved Al Tew second John Stern to pay $58,011.17 from the fire fund to pay remainder of Fire Facuility . Passed

Moved Tom Pritchard second Joe DuFort to put a light up at the ice rink $340.00. Passed

Moved Joe DuFort second John Stern to have Bay Line do the fire system inspection for fire station. Passed

Moved Helen Mudd second John Stern to have tru-Green do the lawn at Fire Station for the coming year. Passed

Moved Helen Mudd second Russ Varner to enter into a mutal aid agreement with the DNR. Passed

Moved Joe DuFort second Helen Mudd to make appoints to the Commission and Committees

Bob Winchester talked about future plans for the township – make board meeting available for broadcast, sidewalks where possible and maybe an access to the river

Julie Atkinson made comments to the board about the article in the new paper about the bond issue the commissioners talked about the the commissioners meeting.
