Motions:

 1.  Moved Helen Mudd second Al Tew to pay monthly bills as listed AP checks #31238 thru #31319 and    payroll checks #31236 thru #31274 totaling $74,137.63.  Passed  

 2.  Moved Helen Mudd second Russ Varner to allow 15 minutes from the public to address the board on the jail site a pinecrest. Passed

 3.  Moved Al Tew second Joe DuFort to send Bldg Insp. to Education Seminar. Passed

4.  Moved Joe DuFort second Tom Pritchard to pay true cost of 2-17-2003 for Carroll Creek bore of $9,479.53 Passed

5.  Moved Joe DuFort second Tom Pritchard to have supervisor get cost estminates for 2003-2004 roads. Passed

6.  Moved Helen Mudd second Tom Pritchard to not renew alarm contract. Passed

7.      Moved Joe DuFort second Tom Prichard to accept resolution, requesting assistance from the County on bonds for new water districts. Passed

8.      Moved Barb Radosa second Helen Mudd to set township Millage rates at 1.5 operating General Fund 1.18 operating Fire Fund and .75 Fire Equipment. Passed

9.      Moved Helen Mudd second At Tew to send planning commission to seminar in Traverse City. Passed

10.  Moved Joe DuFort second Helen Mudd to have planning comm. use Wade Trim for Master Plan. Passed

11.  Moved Tom Pritchard second Joe DuFort to accept ammendent #7 for Water Ord #3500. Passed

12.  Moved Joe DuFort second Helen Mudd to send board members to the TGA sponsored by MTA. Passed

13.  Moved Helen Mudd second Al Tew to accept new firefighters Jason Boos and Patrick Hadley. Passed

Meeting adjourned at 7:05 and moved to the Public Safety Bldg so all attending, could be in the meeting hall

Board answered question from the public

Commissioner O’Neil answered question from the public for about 3 hours

Oct 25th Fire Dept will hold the annual Halloween party the the Public Safety Bldg

All of Water Dist #4 has been accepted and application for hookup to start on 9-15-03
